Skills Bootcamps
Truro and Penwith College has been awarded contracts to deliver Skills Bootcamps, that are funded by UK Government and supported by Devon County Council, for residents of Cornwall and Devon.
Skills Bootcamps offer eligible adults the unique opportunity to access fully-funded training that culminates in a guaranteed job interview for their chosen career path.
The College's Skills Bootcamp programmes currently include Clinical Pathways, Digital Marketing, Future Chef Manager and Welding & Fabrication.

Introducing our new STEM & Health Skills Centre, Bodmin
The new multi-million-pound Truro and Penwith College STEM & Health Skills Centre in Bodmin enjoys close partnerships with employers in East Cornwall. The Centre offers a suite of industry-ready apprenticeships, degrees, professional development and school leaver qualifications in Digital, Engineering, Manufacturing, Healthcare and Nursing.

Tashi – BSc (Hons) Applied Sport and Health Science
Alumni Tashi studied BSc (Hons) Applied Sport and Health Science at the University Centre Truro & Penwith and has since had her dissertation published in an online student journal, as well as starting a career she is passionate about with the NHS.
Scott – BA (Hons) Business, Enterprise and Leadership
After leaving the Army and returning to Cornwall to be close to his family, Scott was looking for his next steps.
Tim – PGCE
Alumni Tim returned to Cornwall and quickly took steps to pursue his teaching career. After studying Level 3 Sport at Truro College himself, he returned during his University placement and taught on that same course.
Victoria – BA (Hons) Human Behavioural Studies
Victoria is graduating from the University Centre with the highest grade in her class after returning to education with an Access to Higher Education course.
