Once again the tutors and students from Penzance School of Art have put on an amazing show of talent and teaching at the art school situated in Morrab Road.

Part of Truro and Penwith College, Penzance School of Art is home to part time courses for art including painting, drawing, pottery, sculpture in clay, stained glass, jewellery making, print making, crochet and wood carving. Classes run during the day and in the evenings and this event showcases their work.

The exhibition was opened this year by Jane Cashmore, Director of Operations for Truro and Penwith College. Jane has a background in Fine Art and Textiles and was very complementary about the standard of the work. She said, “The time and effort, attention to detail and obvious talent that is showcased in this room is tremendous. I think it is excellent that Penzance School of Art can make art accessible to the whole community, young and old, through the courses on offer.”

The exhibition hosted a huge range of styles, of media and of themes.  To unlock your artistic potential and enrol on courses starting in September please call 01736 335 000.
