The return to education can be daunting, even more so for those looking to go to university whilst working, raising a family and the many other responsibilities of modern life. 93 students celebrated their achievements as the Access class of 2012 finished this big step.
Access courses are designed for mature students looking to go to university or make a career change and who may not have formal qualifications, or have not studied for a while.
Access Coordinator, Miles Schofield said “Every year at Truro College records different success stories and 2012 was no different; two Nursing students successfully competed their courses having had babies during the year. Another notable success was Christian Perkins who applied to the prestigious Kings College in London to study Law and passed the high entry requirements with flying colours.”
