Beauty students are preparing for the World Skills finals at the NEC after success at the regional heats.
Sophie Gallaway from Falmouth won a gold medal for Level 3 Advanced Nail Art. Linda Chapman from Truro also won gold for Level 3 Nail Enhancements Advanced. They will be joined in Birmingham by Penwith College student Zoe Ann Pearce.
Lecturer Sarah Reeve said “We are very excited and will be going up for the four day event. We train and mentor the students, selecting those we recognise as having the ability and commitment to training for World Skills. We have been very successful in all competitions over the last few years and have an outstanding record of winners. We wish our three finalists in 2012 the very best of luck.”
