5 AS French students from Penwith College have recently participated in the Mini-Assistant Scheme.
They were placed in French primary schools in Brittany with board and accommodation arranged by the French school. They assisted the teaching of English while experiencing the French language and culture.
All students had a wonderful time and received glowing reports from the host schools.
The students commented, “this trip really helped to improve my French. The family that I stayed with and the school extremely welcoming “, ” the teachers and children at the school were wonderful” “This was a real immersion experience and I will be keeping in touch with my French family so that I can go back in the future”.
