A host of work illustrating the many and varying talents of the creative arts students from Penwith College went on show in the Creative Arts Exhibition at the PZ Gallery from the 4th to 8th July 2012. The artwork included submissions from Level 1, 2 and 3 diploma vocational art students and A Level Graphic Design, Fine Art, Textiles and Photography students as well as work produced by the photography evening class. The work was dynamic and exciting, the college having some very talented and imaginative artists in its midst. One visitor said, “The maturity of some of the work and the attention to detail is indicative of much older and experienced students. There are a number of very special pieces in the exhibition that I am sure people would pay good money to own. Simon Hartles tutor for the vocational art courses said, “The standard of artwork produced by the students gets better and better every year. Some of these pieces have the quality of professional artwork and I am certain that many of the students involved will go on to achieve high accolades for their art.”
