Public Services students from Penwith College took part in the Royal Marine Colleges Challenge recently. Travelling to the training centre in Lympstone the students undertook a series of challenges including assault courses, endurance training and fitness assessments. Their tutor Teona Jackson said, “It was a fantastic end to a gruelling 12 week training programme, for the students who are considering a career in the Royal Marines. The students worked hard and built upon important skills required by the force, also developing much needed social skills with the other colleges present. They did the College, their lecturers and themselves proud.”
