As the class of 2012 prepare to leave and students partway through a course take a well-earned break, the end of term brought an evening of celebration for the Sport department at Truro College.
Nominees for the Dedication to Studies award
The annual Sport award evening saw the students swapping their trainers and sport shirts for shirts and frocks as individuals were recognised for their sporting success as well their contributions to the department, many of which were nominated by fellow students.

The awards went to: Aaron Struminski – Achievement in FE; Duncan Hales – Dedication to Sport ; Harry Woodward – Sportsperson of the year; Martin Yelland – Student of the Year; Nicky Russell – 1st Year Student of the year; Louise Knight – Leadership Award; Netball Academy – Team of the year; Jack Hawkins – Sportsman of the Year; Abi Caple – Sportswoman of the Year
