This course is for experienced teaching assistants whose role calls for competence across a range of responsibilities. The qualification is nationally recognised and accredited to the national Qualifications and Credit Framework and will provide an advanced level of knowledge and skills. For this course you will normally be employed as a teaching assistant and provide direct support to learning within a school. You will be required to produce a portfolio of evidence and attend lectures to complete ten units. Additional costs: City & Guilds registration and certification fee £117 payable on enrolment. Pre-course interview will be required.
