Course Overview: Business and Administration plays a crucial role in organisations by handling day-to-day tasks and making sure the office runs smoothly. Administrators require a strong sense of responsibility, accuracy and attention to detail because their roles may involve organising people and resources, acting as personal assistants, secretaries, administration assistants, data entry clerks and office juniors. At level 2, the Business Administration Apprentice may be responsible for typing up documents, putting financial information together in spreadsheets, daily postal procedures, photocopying confidential documents, information communication and technology skills.

Course Content: This Apprenticeship includes the following elements:

  • Level 2 Certificate in Business and Administration
  • Level 2 Technical Certificate in Business Administration
  • Level 1 Functional Skill in Mathematics

This Apprenticeship builds on the skills learnt on the Beauty level 2 programme. On the Advanced Apprenticeship, you’ll work as a beauty therapist, learning techniques like body massage as well as more complicated electronic treatments to remove unwanted hair or improve skin condition.

Course Overview:

This Apprenticeship is about improving people’s well-being by making them look and feel better. Beauty Therapy covers a range of treatments, from simple facials and make-up skills to waxing. You’ll work closely with clients and will need the ability to put them at ease, and generally be pleasant and personable. Most therapists are based in salons, although some can work in hospitals, resorts, and even cruise liners. It can be a glamorous career choice: with further training you might become a make-up artist for film and TV or help develop new products. In the future you might run your own salon or work for individual clients.

Course Overview

With men putting almost as much effort into their appearances as women these days, the demand for skilled barbers to cut and style hair is on the rise. (Barbers only cater for men – if you want to work on female hair too, see the Hairdressing Apprenticeship.) On this Apprenticeship, you’ll learn how to give client consultations, cut hair, trim and shape facial hair, and shampoo and condition hair and scalp. You could also choose to learn how to colour hair, give scalp massages and style different types of hair.

Course Overview

This Apprenticeship is designed for those who want to become qualified as ‘Accounting Technicians’ and have completed the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting. At Level 4, this Higher Apprenticeship is designed for those whose role includes the more complex accounting tasks and also aspects of finance team leader skills including; managing self and others and measuring and evaluating financial performance.

Course Overview

Accounting is a cornerstone of business. The biggest multinationals, the smallest local enterprises and businesses of every size in between depend upon the talents of people trained in accountancy. This Apprenticeship is designed for those who are already working in this industry and have achieved the level 2 certificate in Accounting and whose role includes the more complex accounting tasks, like preparing final accounts for sole traders and partnerships, maintaining cost accounting records and preparing reports and returns.

This Apprenticeship includes the following elements:
