This course is ideal for those coaching, or wishing to coach,individual athletes or sports teams. Students will learn about the key stages of athlete learning, the theories behind athlete learning and how to plan, deliver, adapt and evaluate an effective coaching session. The course is delivered through a range of practical and theory sessions.
It can also include the industry standard qualifications “Equity in your Coaching” and “Safeguarding and Protecting Children in Sport” (Sports Coach UK). All you have to do is pay for the resources from Sports Coach UK (£14.99 and £8.99 respectively).

Progression You could study another single topic SUCCESS course or attain a Certificate in Professional development by completing any three modules of your choice. You could also progress to FdSc Sports Coaching
