Functional Skills in Maths Level 2

Functional Skills ensure that an individual has the basic applied skills in order to solve problems and become a valuable employee. They build the confidence needed to tackle commonly recurring problems in any job role.

Functional Skills in Maths enables learners to gain confidence and fluency in mathematics and support them to develop behaviours such as persistence and logical thinking as they apply mathematical tools and approaches. This qualification will test a learners representing, analysing and interpreting skills using numbers, geometry and statistics in realistic contexts.
