After two years of hard work and dedication over 1,600 A Level, Vocational Diploma and T Level students collected their results in August. With almost 1,000 students leaving College having secured entry to their first-choice university, this year is the culmination of their efforts and diligence, supported through the care, expertise and dedication of our excellent staff.
Silversmithing
Students will be shown how to move metal safely through guided tuition on this beginners silversmithing course. Using traditional techniques such as raising, planishing, forging and press forming you will design and create one or more vessels and a spoon in copper.
Please note this is NOT a jewellery making course. Some hand and arm strength required for this manual course.
Materials can be purchased from the tutor. Please bring with you a notebook, pen, pencil, lighter and a small paint brush.
