What Will I Learn?
By the end of the course you will have produced a report which reviews and makes recommendations for improving your organisational structure and culture to support increased effectiveness and efficiency. You will also deliver a presentation which reviews and makes recommendations to improve your HR practices. Self-study outside the taught sessions is required.
This course will give you the opportunity to:
- Analyse different approaches to management and organisational dynamics.
- Discuss issues of authority, autonomy and power in organisations.
- Review the impact of leadership and management style on motivation and performance within your company.
- Develop an understanding of team dynamics and the behaviour of individual members.
Where Will It Take Me?
This course is a 20-credit module accredited by Plymouth University. On completion of this course, further study of an additional two modules could create a 60 Credit Certificate of Professional Development (CPD) Award.
