This course is aimed at those working or interested in working in roles that include responsibility for digital marketing or are interested in learning more about the benefits of adopting a digital marketing strategy. Learners will increase awareness of the benefits of adopting a dynamic digital strategy within a business. What Will I Learn?
This is a level 4 programme and by the end of the course you will have demonstrated an understanding of the benefits and opportunities of organisation adopting an on-line strategy using appropriate and relevant digital channels, as well as identifying the change and growth of digital consumer behaviour and will also be able to evaluate where digital marketing is positioned within the wider context of brand management and traditional marketing history. Self-study outside the taught sessions is required. Assessment is 50% Coursework (Report); 50% Presentation.

- Examine the growth of digital platforms.
- Define key differences between traditional and digital marketing.
- Explain how businesses can prepare marketing strategies that benefit from using both techniques.
- Explore how businesses can adopt a digital strategy that engages with customers.
Where Will It Take Me?
This course is a 20-credit module accredited by Plymouth University. On completion of this course, further study of an additional two modules could create a 60 Credit Certificate of Professional Development (CPD) Award.
