A taster day on Monday 01 July 2024 for students who are in private school, home-based learning or a school which has a sixth form.
Are you a pupil at a school with a sixth form, private school or are you a home-based learner? If so, you may not have had an opportunity to visit Truro College for a Taster Day where you can meet tutors, tour the campus and have a go at a variety of fun and engaging subject lessons.
The deadline for registrations was Friday 21 June. If you have any questions ahead of the event please contact Helena Newton helenanewton@truro-penwith.ac.uk
Important Information
On arrival, please sign in at Allen Reception. You can view a campus map here. We encourage visitors to take the park and ride or public transport where possible, but if you are driving, please ensure that you register your vehicle on our ANPR system at reception to avoid any parking fines. Please note that parents cannot attend alongside their son or daughter but are welcome to wait in our Spires coffee bar in the Allen building.
The Taster Day is open to young people currently in Year 10 or 11 only and it is only available on Monday 01 July. It is the parent’s responsibility to inform their son or daughter’s school if they are attending. If your child has any learning support needs, medical needs or access requirements please advise us in advance.
We look forward to welcoming you on 01 July. Please be aware that there will be other schools and alternative provision providers present on this day.
