Baker’s Dozen

Truro College's annual art and design exhibition is a fantastic chance for students to showcase their work while giving members of the public the chance to come and see what they are creating at College.

This year's exhibition will take place in a large marquee on Lemon Quay in Truro from Tuesday, May 22 until Saturday, May 26 and provides future stars of Cornwall's creative talent with an ideal occasion to showcase their work.

Open from 9am - 6pm, Tuesday to Friday and 9am - 3pm on Saturday, the free-to-enter show promises to be an outstanding display of talent from both full-time and part-time students and further and higher education courses, representing the broad creative choice offered by Art and Design courses at Truro College.

Indeed, from Fashion to Graphic Design, Silversmithing & Jewellery to Fine Art, Ceramics to Product Design, Textiles to Printmaking and Life Drawing to Animation, the variety and quality of works on display will definitely earn the title of Baker's Dozen, which refers to the practice of bakers giving extra - a necessary part of any creative process.
