Truro College Open Morning - Saturday 3rd March

Come and discover the difference of an outstanding education as Truro College opens its doors to prospective students and parent / carers

Whether you know what you want to study or you have no idea, come along and discover your options. You can tour the campus, meet teaching staff and have-a-go at a range of interactive activities.

This event covers all our learning options including post-16, University level, professional development and part-time courses.

Explore our purpose-built University Centre to find out more about degree level opportunities that are available right here in Cornwall. Rated Gold by the Teaching Excellence and Student Outcomes Framework (TEF), the College boasts smaller class sizes, more 1-1 personal support and a chance to fit life around lectures.

As a celebration of National Apprenticeship Week taking place 5-9th March, there will be a focus on Apprenticeships with an opportunity to visit different sectors in the College to discuss your options. There will also be an Apprenticeship Information Talk in Mylor building at 11am.

The Information Talk lasts around half an hour with our Apprenticeship Team sharing:

• How Apprenticeships provide workplace experience that employers are looking for.
• Pay and career paths.
• How Apprenticeships work and what a typical week involves.
• Nationally-recognised qualifications up to degree level.

You will also have the chance to hear from The Rick Stein Group who will explain why Apprenticeships are valuable to their organisation and the hospitality industry.

E-mail apprenticeships@truro-penwith.ac.uk to book your place.

A member of the Apprenticeship Recruitment Team will also have a stand in Mylor foyer between 12-2pm throughout National Apprenticeship Week to offer advice and guidance.

Parking is available on site along with hot and cold refreshments.
