Visitor comments included, “Superb quality of work” “I can’t believe that some of these students have only been taking this course since September – what an amazing achievement in only 3 months” “This show has inspired me to rekindle my artistic side. I have been so busy at work, I think that turning my hand to painting again may redress the balance in my life”.
David Atkinson-Beaumont Programme Team Leader for Arts and Community said, “I am delighted by the range of artwork on show. There are pieces from students who only started a course 3 months ago and have made amazing progress alongside work from students who have been refining their skills for years. Penzance School of Art has a rich history spanning more than 160 years. The work on show is testament to the artistic skills and talent of both tutors and students.”
Nanette Wherry who heads up the part time courses at the College said, “The staff and students have put in so much effort to make this art show the best it can be. All of the courses that we offer are inclusive and support students with a range of abilities. It is great to see all of these abilities represented in this fantastic, festive exhibition.”
