Truro and Penwith College currently offers more than 40 Apprenticeship programmes and we continue to expand our provision to provide the skills and experience Cornish employers are looking for.
Apprenticeships have always been seen as a fantastic start to a vocational career in areas such as construction and trade occupations, motor vehicle and hair and beauty. This continues to be the case and our students benefit from not only learning from industry experts but doing so in first-class, state-of-the-art facilities.
Perhaps not as well known is that our range of Outstanding Apprenticeship programmes is not limited to these vocational areas. Truro and Penwith College Apprentices are starting their careers in a wide range of other areas such as becoming fully qualified AAT accountants, developing software for a range of applications including space and satellite control or marketing some of Cornwall’s top brands.
Apprenticeships provide the perfect blend of classroom learning and practical workplace experience for anyone to start their career and are available to anyone over the age of 16.
It’s not all about starting your career, programmes such as our Management Apprenticeships for example, are perfect for those who are already employed or starting out in a management role.
