Part-time courses are back!

Whether you’re looking to develop new skills, gain extra professional qualifications or practice fun activities with friends, April sees a swathe of Summer term courses launched at Truro and Penwith College.

We currently offer hundreds of exciting courses that range from looking and feeling great, to learning a language, developing food and drink skills, undertaking professional qualifications and much more.

Some of the courses starting in April include Acrylic Painting, Photoshop for Beginners, Basic Car Mechanics, Pottery for all, Creative Textile Art and Spanish for holidays. For the full list check out our brochure here.

All courses vary in length, from day classes and summer schools to year-long Diplomas and are hosted in a range of locations across Cornwall taught by a team of dedicated staff, so there’s something to suit everyone.

We also offer lots of options for funding too. For adult learners aged 19 or over who want to study a qualification at Level 3 or above, the 19+ Advanced Learner Loan could help, and the tuition fee for some courses may be waived depending on different circumstances.

In addition, the College can offer some students financial support through its European Social Fund (ESF) projects. For learners earning under £17,004, some qualification courses could even be fully funded. Check out the guide to learn more about how we can support you or please contact the Part Time Courses Team on 01872 308000 for further guidance and information.
