Truro and Penwith College Announces Cornwall Business Award Sponsorship

Truro and Penwith College is once again supporting the Cornwall Business Awards, as the prestigious event enters its 14th year in 2019.

The College is sponsoring the Young Business Person of the Year category in recognition of the work it does to support young people in business.

With the free to enter nominations opening for all fourteen categories on 7 January the cream of Cornish Business will be putting themselves forward to demonstrate excellence in a range of areas in returning categories such as; Best family business, Best place to work, Best Business Leader and of course Young Business Person of the Year to name a few, and brand new for 2019; Best Marketing Campaign, Exporter of the Year and Product of the Year.

Staff from Truro and Penwith College Business will attend the Awards on the 27th June, with the Young Business Person of the Year award to be presented by Martin Tucker, Director of Operations and Truro and Penwith College Business who will also be part of the judging panel for the category.

Martin commented; “Supporting excellence in Cornwall’s young business community is synergistic to the work we do at Truro and Penwith College every single day. As in all areas of our work, the focus of our professional development training is on real quality of provision, ensuring the best possible experience for learners and our partner employers, many of whom will be attending the Awards evening.
