UCAS Deadline Extension

The University admissions body UCAS has extended its deadline for students to apply to University from Friday,15 January to 6pm on January 29

For all students considering going to University later this year, did you know that the University admissions body UCAS has extended its deadline for students to apply to University from Friday,15 January to 6pm on January 29?

The extension means colleges such as ours now have more time to support our students who do not have immediate access to digital devices to complete the final parts of their applications.

With the extra fortnight available, now is also the perfect time to discover more about your University level options locally and how you can start your career in Cornwall, staying and studying locally. Truro and Penwith College is the only institution in Cornwall that is both Ofsted Outstanding and TEF Gold-rated and offers a wide range of career focussed University level courses spanning 11 subject areas.

You can find out much more on our website or why not book onto an online 1-1 session with one of our Gold-rated teaching team. Sessions are available to book now and are being held in time for you to submit an application ahead of the new January 29 deadline.

Please remember though that in order to guarantee your place, UCAS still advise that students submit their applications as soon as it is possible for them to do so.

In line with the extension, 'Extra', the opportunity for applicants to add a further choice, has also been push from 11 February and will open on 25 February.
