David Pollard

Dave Pollard is Education and Outreach Manager at Spaceport Cornwall, home of the first rocket and satellite launch into space from the UK. His remit sees him working with students from primary age right through to post university, whilst also working with college and universities to help develop courses in the region. With a degree in Business Management, modules completed through The Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Level 6 qualification in offering Independent Advice and Guidance, Dave previously worked as an Enterprise Coordinator at the Careers Hub where he helped schools and colleges in the region work towards the eight Gatsby Benchmarks. He is now working with Truro and Penwith College to support the College with their careers strategy and help give a viewpoint from industry when trying to implement the strategy.
