Emma’s role within the business development team is continually evolving, reacting to external factors and events, while she provides support to the team with the coordination of meetings, activities, and events. Emma moved to Cornwall from Hertfordshire with her husband and young family in 2016. Before Joining Truro and Penwith College, Emma worked at a Marine Drilling Company in Falmouth for three years and prior to this, worked at a college in Hertfordshire for seven years, where she held various roles. Emma has 15-years of experience working across multiple industries and sectors, including software, sport, marine, industrial, construction, hospitality and education. She has held various administration, coordination, team leader and project-based roles since starting her career with an Apprenticeship in business administration, which led to a second Apprenticeship and later a degree in business with marketing. Emma enjoys family days out exploring and taking in the best of Cornwall along with her dog Arnold.
