Prior to joining Truro & Penwith College, Tom’s previous roles and experience spread across contracting, funding, account management and people management.
Tom leads the development of business relationships and the Business Partnership Team ensuring that it is responsive at all times to customers and that the training they deliver is employer led, supporting both business performance and individual development. Tom has a passion for learning and development and promotes it as a key strategic function in business aimed at supporting personal development and building capabilities. He has a proven track record of working with organisations to design and implement high quality learning strategies, whilst also supporting individuals with their own training and development needs in order to realise their potential.
Tom brings an analytical, structured, and thoughtful approach to his work. His collaborative and open communication style enables him to quickly develop and build highly productive professional relationships.
Tom also specialises in Apprenticeships and training, joint venture opportunities, partnership working, service design and implementation, project management, continuous improvement, and strategic account management.
