We are on an exciting journey as we move at pace to integrate digital marketing and communications throughout the College. With a new website in the pipeline and a digital-first mindset across the College, we are now looking for someone who is passionate about websites and digital content to join us on this journey.
The prime responsibility of this role will be the continuing development of the Truro and Penwith College website, to ensure it matches user expectations, is well-designed and full of engaging content and, working closely with our web developers, delivers functionality that creates a seamless end-to-end user experience.
The successful applicant will need to have the organisational skills to regularly audit and update all website content, demonstrate effective experience using Content Management Systems, particularly WordPress, and of measuring analytics and Search Engine Optimisation and to use these findings to work towards continually improving our online presence.
While working in a busy but rewarding environment as part of our award-winning marketing team, applicants will need to use their initiative to make changes and improvements based on evidence and engagement, have meticulous attention to detail and excellent all-round communications skills. Experience of content creation, coding and design software such as the Adobe Creative Suite would be advantageous.
