Cornwall Teaching School is a partnership of teaching schools, partner schools and other organisations, promoting excellence in teaching, learning and leadership. Within this group, we are a National Support School, led by National Leaders of Education. We help schools to reach outstanding levels of teaching and learning, while also training the teachers of tomorrow.

South West Institute of Technology (SWIoT)

The SWIoT is a new working partnership to drive world-class technical education and deliver skilled local people, economic growth and prosperity in the South West. At Truro College, the SWIoT will deliver a brand-new engineering and technology hub, the Valency building, to open in 2021.

The mission of the South West Institute of Technology is to:

  • provide employers with the skills that they need to succeed, now and in the future
