Access to Higher Education: Creative Media & Photography

This programme is intended for those returning to creative study, who may need to develop a portfolio, study skills & gain qualifications to enter Higher Education or the workplace.

Creative Media and Photography students will study photography and moving image production alongside other relevant disciplines such as graphic design. The course aims to develop students' portfolios to enable them to progress to higher education and to go on to seek employment in the industry. Successful students have progressed to degrees in Post Production Editing, Business and Digital marketing, Film, Media and Photography and Film and TV production.

Where will this course take me?

On successful completion of the Access to HE: Creative Media and Photography course, learners may decide to exhibit independently as an artist, or progress to a media and photography related programme of study. Truro and Penwith College offers the FdA Film, Media and Photography along with the one-year top-up BA (Hons) Applied Media. In addition to this, the proposed course acts as a progression route onto a significant number of BA programmes of study, throughout the country.
