Encouraged to consider the application of social science in the social care arena, you will explore contemporary political and social issues to help develop academic and employability skills. Contemporary theories of social science will be analysed within contexts of both the individual and society, allowing you to gain a broad understanding of the subject. 

On successful completion of this course, you will be able to demonstrate a systematic understanding of the key concepts, theoretical approaches and applications that are developing within social science.
