When studying education provided for young children, you will make clear and consistent links between theory and your own developing practice. An understanding of the historical, political, sociological and psychological theories and policies that affect the curriculum and practice will also be developed. Designed to equip you to work within your own chosen specialist areas, the course is a platform from which you can develop professional values and ethics from theory and practice to acquire appropriate ethical arguments and professional identity. 

On successful completion of this course, you will be able to apply knowledge and skills to new workplace situations, using effective communication skills in a variety of forms for a range of audiences in the education sector.
