Designed to provide people with an opportunity to develop skills within the computing and cyber security world, and suitable for students wishing to progress from a range of Level 3 courses including: Computing, maths and Science/Engineering subject courses.
This programme will equip students with an understanding of how to work as an IT security professional and provide the academic and practical skills required to specialise in their chosen field. Students will cover a wide range of subjects including digital forensices, security programming, cryptography, networks security and design, professional practice and work placement, alongside the opportunity for students to undertake industry-recognised qualification.
The programme intends to also take a creative approach to studying cyber security and is unique within the Cornish commercial market, providing entrepreneurial skills to students.
