You will develop an understanding of applied coaching in relation to your chosen sporting pathway by analysing and evaluating the impact of coaching methods on sporting performance. Disciplines of anatomy, physiology, learning theory and psychology will be explored by working with specific group, on special issues such as nutrition, exercise and knowledge of the methods and approaches to fitness testing. Relevant work experience at local primary and secondary schools will be arranged for you to deliver sessions to Key Stage 1, 2 and 3 students to put classroom learning into practice.
