Connected College

Extraordinary times call for an extraordinary College. At Truro and Penwith College we are making sure our staff and students stay safe by staying at home, but we are also ensuring we stay connected.

Already delivering 4,000 online sessions virtually each week, we are launching Connected College to expand our online community to Cornwall, developing digital platforms enabling you to join with us and discover more about staying and studying in Cornwall at one of the country’s top colleges.

We look forward to welcoming you. More details of our Connected College programme can be seen below. For latest updates, specific dates and times follow us on social media or visit

Digital Campus

Get ready for the next step. We have developed resources to create a unique Digital Campus, giving Year 11 pupils from across Cornwall access to learning materials and resources to help them prepare and be ready for starting at Truro and Penwith College in September. Links for pupils to enter and use the online Digital Campus are being sent direct to schools and headteachers from May onwards.

Web-streamed Masterclasses

Discover something new. Led by the College’s expert lecturers and teaching staff, online masterclasses will be delivered throughout May and June in subjects ranging from cyber security to the mining history of Cornwall. While aimed at prospective university level students, everyone will be invited to attend sessions delivered by our TEF Gold-rated higher education and Ofsted Outstanding further education tutors.

Virtual Health and Wellbeing Sessions

Our award-winning Health, Wellbeing and Sport (HWS) programme is being rolled out online from April 20th – allowing not only our staff and students to receive gym and exercise classes direct from our qualified staff, as they usually would within College, but also the wider community of Cornwall. Feel free to subscribe to the HWS team’s dedicated YouTube channel to get involved.
