Penwith College invites all parents, guardians & carers of Year 11 pupils to join us at Penwith College for our Autumn information events to find out more about the College's fantastic study opportunities.
On Wednesday 7 November, Penwith College is hosting an A Level Information Fair where parents and students can immerse themselves in A Levels by taking a tour of A Level classes, enjoying a short taught lesson in a series of subjects and talk to tutors. There is also the chance to hear an informative talk by the College Director, taking place at 6pm and 7pm. The event runs between 5:30pm and 7:30pm. Whether you can come for the whole or part of the fair, we would be pleased to welcome you in the Zennor building reception.
The format of the evening is as follows:
5.30-7.30pm A level Information Fair
6pm and 7pm Talk by the College Director and Programme Team Leader
6.30pm Taster lessons - see what A level learning is all about. A selection of A level classes will be on offer
On Wednesday 15 November, the College is hosting a Vocational and Technical Courses evening to help parents and students understand and experience the vocational aspect of the College's course offer, including Apprenticeships, and the progression opportunities available. There will be an informative overview at 5:30pm, repeated at 6:30pm, and the opportunity to speak to experienced subject staff who will talk through the course content, show you the facilities in your specific area of interest and explain the entry requirements for each level of the course.
