This course has been designed as an extension from Jewellery Making for Beginners & Improvers, where students have learnt the basic techniques and wish to further their craft. It is useful to have technical knowledge and experience in soldering as a prerequisite for Intermediate / Advanced Jewellery.
During this course you may cover more advanced techniques such as:
- Boxes / hinges / lockets
- Tubes stone setting
- Flush stone setting
- Bezel setting
- Tension setting
- Press forming
- Brooch pins
- Etching
- Advanced fret work
- Reticulation techniques
- Further chain making
Students can also learn how to repair jewellery.
