Truro College Nursery

Our children’s nursery in Truro provides a caring and safe environment for children. Fully-trained staff will tailor their teaching and care to your child’s individual needs.

Pictures of gingerbread men which have been painted by children are on a noticeboard. There are also a couple of photos, two snowflakes that have been painted and a sign which says 'every child is an artist'.

An excellent nursery

You’ll want your child to go to an excellent nursery while you are working or studying. Situated in the grounds of Truro College opposite Truro Leisure Centre, Truro College Nursery provides high-quality care and education for children aged from six weeks to eight years.

Our staff are experts in teaching children and making the most of each developmental stage. The children benefit from a carefully planned curriculum which builds on their interests and abilities. This is achieved through purposeful play situations, valuing structured and spontaneous exploration as real learning opportunities in the early years.

Children enjoy a consistent approach to care in a safe and stimulating environment, which supports the aims and principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Rest assured knowing that your child will receive the individual care and attention they need to develop in a safe environment.

We aim to ensure a positive relationship is established between parent/carer and nursery staff. The nursery values the importance of parental involvement and strives to work in partnership with you as we share the privilege of these precious early years. Since we feel so strongly about this, staff at the nursery will make as many opportunities as possible to meet with you and share information about your child’s progress.
