In the studio, cinema, outside with the amazing panorama of Cornwall to inspire you, or travelling further afield to London, Rome or New York – your view of life through a lens will be enriched. 

Students at Truro and Penwith College produce exceptional film and media work, combining creativity with industry-level technical skills. A recent highlight saw Creative Media students collaborate with St Michael’s Mount to create a professional short film, working to a live brief and gaining hands-on experience across the entire production process. The finished piece was highly praised for its storytelling, cinematography and overall quality, demonstrating the impressive standard students achieve. Projects like this give learners valuable real-world experience, helping them build strong portfolios and take confident steps toward careers in the creative industries.
