When Hadia arrived in the UK from Afghanistan, she faced the challenge of rebuilding her life and restarting her education after years of disruption. Having never used a computer before, she has since developed impressive digital skills and created an inspiring magazine as part of her Essential Digital Skills unit on the Young ESOL programme at Truro and Penwith College.

Emma, who previously attended Fowey River Academy, has completed the IB Diploma at Truro College. She is now heading to become an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor at Ward Williams to work in the Engineering industry.

Results Day was one to remember for Sam, who achieved an outstanding First Class Honours degree in LLB Law from University Centre Truro and Penwith. After returning to education in her thirties, balancing her studies alongside raising three children and overcoming significant personal challenges, Sam's result is a testament to her hard work and resilience.

Results Day delivered an incredible surprise for Nadeem, who graduated from University Centre Truro and Penwith with First Class Honours in BSc Applied Programming.

Engineering students Ellie and Vicky are developing practical skills, building confidence and preparing for exciting careers in industry. At the STEM & Health Skills Centre in Bodmin, they have found a supportive community where they feel encouraged to pursue their ambitions and follow their passions.

Students from Truro and Penwith College’s Accelerate programme are putting their STEM skills into practice through the UK CanSat Competition. Working as a team, they are designing and building a mini satellite to be launched, tested and analysed in a real-world engineering challenge.

Through her T Level in Education & Childcare, she has developed the confidence, knowledge and practical experience to take her next step towards becoming a Norland Nanny.
