Academic Excellence at Truro and Penwith College
Cornwall’s leading college for results, progression and opportunity.
Your future starts here
At Truro and Penwith College, academic success is more than an option — it’s our culture. Each year, our students achieve some of the highest A Level and vocational results in Cornwall, progressing to top universities, competitive apprenticeships and rewarding careers.
We are recognised nationally for our performance, with outcomes that regularly outpace local sixth forms and schools. Whether it’s A Levels, the International Baccalaureate or vocational diplomas, our students benefit from specialist tutors, modern facilities and structured support.
A Place to Aim Higher
What sets us apart is the breadth of our offer. Unlike smaller sixth forms, we combine academic and vocational excellence in one place, giving students more choice, more flexibility, and access to cutting-edge facilities like the Valency building, part of the South West Institute of Technology.
At Truro and Penwith College, every learner has the chance to excel — supported, challenged and inspired to achieve their very best.
I like being in classes with people who are all achieving high and being pushed more by the lectures. I also like how we get notified about all the opportunities available to us and are encouraged to participate in all we can to make our applications for university even better.
