During this one day course, learners will develop a greater understanding of health and safety issues.
Topics include:
- Health and Safety laws
- Risk assessments and risk control hierarchy
- Identifying and controlling the risks from common workplace hazards
- The legal requirements related to health and safety in the workplace and what to do in response to accidents and incidents at work.
The objective of the qualification is to benefit learners by developing their health and safety awareness. Learners will have the opportunity to build an understanding of health and safety in the workplace and the role that everyone plays in maintaining a safe working environment.
