This course has been designed as an extension from Jewellery Making for Beginners & Improvers, where students have learnt the basic techniques and wish to further their craft. It is useful to have technical knowledge and experience in soldering as a prerequisite for Intermediate / Advanced Jewellery. 

During this course you may cover more advanced techniques such as:

  • Boxes / hinges / lockets
  • Tubes stone setting
  • Flush stone setting
  • Bezel setting
  • Tension setting
  • Press forming
  • Brooch pins
  • Etching 
  • Advanced fret work
  • Reticulation techniques
  • Further chain making 

Students can also learn how to repair jewellery.
