Truro and Penwith College has announced a range of fully-funded and career boosting training opportunities for adults aged 19+, that will be delivered from Spring 2026 at no cost, subject to eligibility, thanks to the Cornwall Council Adult Skills Fund (ASF).

Part of Cornwall’s Devolution Agreement, the ASF is designed to support the education and training of individuals aged 19 and over, aiming to engage adults and provide them with the skills needed for entering and sustaining work or further learning.

Adult learners at Truro and Penwith College can unlock their futures with access to over 200 courses and qualifications, spanning Professional Development, Personal Development, Apprenticeships and Higher Education with the University Centre Truro & Penwith.

Under the latest round of funding, some of the College’s most sought-after Professional Masterclasses and Workshops, including Leadership, Management and Coaching, are eligible to be fully-funded during the 2026 Spring and Summer terms.

The courses include: Leading Change, Customers Service, Project Management 101, Introduction to Coaching and Mentoring, Assertiveness and Challenging Conversations, Effective Mentoring of Apprentices and New Starters, The Coaching Leader, Boosting Performance, Developing Confidence and Resilience, Psychological Safety in the Workplace and Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace.

These cost-free training options are being delivered at the College’s Tregye Campus on the outskirts of Truro and the STEM and Health Skills Centre in Bodmin.

The College invites those interested to visit www.truro-penwith.ac.uk/Adult-Learning and follow links to its Eventbrite Course Collection, where users can read more about each of the training options and book their place.
