We value our staff and their development and to underpin this we have a programme of staff development opportunities that includes:
- Development Days
- Team Building Events
- Access to qualification courses
- Appraisals
- External Courses/Conferences
- Informal Training and Mentoring
- In house leadership and management programme
Over 350 external training events are financed every year. Each year the College holds five Development Days that cover a wide range of topics including Teaching and Learning, Tutoring, Health and Safety/First Aid, Safeguarding, UCAS, IT, and Assertiveness.
We also have a focus on employee wellbeing through sporting activities and taster sessions on a broad range of vocational topics.
