My story:
Harry knew he wanted to study medicine and that choosing a good mixture of A Level subjects would help him pursue that career path. Outside of his studies, Harry joined the Medics’ Academy and participated in College based competitions, such as the Chemistry Analyst Competition and the Maths Challenge, where he received a silver award.
Harry said: “I always knew I was going to attend Truro College, not only because of its great reputation but also because of its excellent medics’ programme.
“I like the method of teaching at the College. The class sizes are small which makes learning much easier and means there’s lots of support. I also like that they teach the easier stuff first, so there’s a gradual build-up to the more difficult topics.
“The College has been brilliant in helping me with the process of applying to university.
“There are lots of opportunities at the College to do things outside of your studies. My experience has been really positive. I’ve enjoyed lots of aspects of College life and I think, by being here, I’m really prepared for university and my next steps.”
