My StoryÂ
James is a General Manager at Gripsure and studied the ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership & Management to help him gain skills for life that he could implement within his own team.
James said the highlight of his training was the way the course was delivered by his tutor. “The tutor, Rob, was brilliant at making us evaluate our own styles and understanding as well as just delivering the material. The course content was engaging and delivered very well by Rob online which made it very flexible to fit in around work commitments. Rob’s help within the taught sessions, but also in our one-to-ones, greatly increased my understanding of the course and helped implement it within my team.”
James found that he was able to apply the skills he had learned straight away within his own team, and this in turn increased his confidence in picking the best way to handle specific situations that arose in his workplace. Since completing the course, James’ team has grown from four to seven staff and greatly increased its production outputs.
“I am now much stronger at looking at my management style and picking the best way to handle specific situations which has increased my confidence.”, said James.
James now plans to continue his personal development and focus on growing his team further, to achieve even greater successes.
