Core Maths builds upon and strengthens existing skills developed during the GCSE Maths course. This includes financial applications of mathematics such as tax, national insurance and mortgages. Fermi estimations is another popular module.

Core Maths is assessed over 2 exams, each consisting of 60 marks. There is no coursework element.
