WHAT WILL I LEARN?

You will need to be confident working with numbers and interpreting data before starting this course. Throughout the course, you will explore real-world data sets, learn key statistical techniques, and apply them to practical situations. A Level Statistics supports a wide range of other subjects, particularly psychology, computing, biology, geography, economics, and business studies.

WHERE WILL IT TAKE ME?

This course prepares you for degrees in economics, psychology, business, social sciences, and data science. Careers include data analyst, economist, market researcher, healthcare analyst, and statistician.

At the end of the first year you will sit internal mock exams to gauge your progress in the subject. You will also be given some work to do over the summer break between the first and second year of the course. This will help you to be ready for the start of year two and make sure that there are no important topics that you have missed out on.

At the end of the second year you will sit A Level exams in Statistics on the work covered in both years.
