What To Expect
Discover your future at the University Centre Truro and Penwith by joining us for an inspiring and informative Open Event designed to help you take the next confident step in your higher education journey.
This is your opportunity to experience first-hand what makes the University Centre Truro and Penwith such a dynamic and supportive place to study. Head to our Fal Building Foyer, where our University Centre team will welcome you to the event.
Our programme leads will be available throughout the event to discuss courses in detail, answer your questions, and help you understand how each programme can support your ambitions. You will also have the chance to explore our impressive specialist facilities, giving you a real feel for life as a student here.
If you’re unsure about your future career path, our Careers Coordinator will be available to offer advice and help you explore progression routes, employment opportunities, and further study options. In addition, our friendly Student Support Team will be there to discuss the wide range of academic, wellbeing, and financial support available to ensure you feel confident and supported throughout your studies.
The event will include a University Centre talk led by the Dean of the University. These sessions will highlight our career-focused higher education courses, designed in response to local and national skills shortages with a focus on developing employability skills for real-world careers. The Dean will also showcase our state-of-the-art facilities, share inspiring stories of graduate success, and explain how our supportive and inclusive learning environment helps students thrive academically, personally and professionally.
