Our College Nursery in Truro is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bank Early Years Practitioners to join us on an as-needed basis. What You’ll Be Doing

As a valued member of our nursery team, you’ll work alongside experienced practitioners to:

  • Support the care, learning, and development of babies and young children.
  • Help create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment where every child can flourish.
  • Contribute to engaging activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
  • Ensure high standards of care and wellbeing are maintained at all times.

This role provides additional support during busy periods, staff absences, and to help maintain appropriate adult-to-child ratios.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking individuals who bring both enthusiasm and professional expertise to our nursery. You will have:

✅ A Level 2 Childcare qualification (or equivalent) or be currently working towards a Level 3 qualification.

✅ A minimum of 12 months’ experience working within an Early Years setting.

✅ A genuine passion for supporting children’s early learning and development.

✅ A flexible approach and the ability to work shifts as required to meet the needs of the nursery.

Working Hours

The nursery operates Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm. As a Bank Early Years Practitioner, you’ll be offered shifts within these hours when additional support is needed.
